Blimey where have the last few months gone?! We've had new year's, Valentines, Burns night and St Patricks day, time flies when your having fun eh? Oh and book week this year was off the wall!

Well as promised there are exciting new developments at the shop, a new online shop is being developed, in fact it's almost ready to launch, with literally hundreds of fantastic costumes and accessories, you'll be spoiled for choice.

We will also be launching a brand new website, it'll be even slicker, quicker and more interactive than this one, whilst maintaining our signature sense of fun and merriment of course :-)

As we've stated before there are ongoing changes to the interior of the Arcade which we'll keep you posted on.

We've already had lots of enquiries for spring flings, Proms and summer balls so no rest for the wicked!

Season's greetings everyone!

There's lots happening this year at The Dressing up Shop, we have been inundated with customers wanting Christmas theme costumes, alot of which have been for fundraising events which is lovely, we Brits know the true meaning of christmas!

Shirlee completed two costumes made especially for 'Dotty Dolittle' in this years Princes Hall panto, 'Beauty & the Beast'. We hope you can pop along and see the show, visit the Princes Hall website for more details. Oh and all the costumes you may have seen in all the promotions are our's too ;-)

New year is definetley the next big thing, the ultimate party night, and going from the theme's our customers have been mentioning it should be an absolute blast!

From all here at the Dressing Up Shop, we have you have the very merriest of Christmas's and the most fanciest new year!

Tis that time again folks, it's chilly out but it's never too cold to party! Our very own Charlie was a real trooper and put on a costume to collect for the Poppy appeal, we shall let you know how much he raised as we learn the details! You are never too young for charidee!

We had the Christmas light switch on on Saturday 17th November which was amazing, fantastic music, great crowd and the most splendid array of animals ( and reindeer of course! ) that you can imagine!

So with the festive period in full swing we wanted to let you all know that we are ready for all your christmas party needs so come on down, we would love to see you!

P.S this year we will once again be collecting for Aldershot Rotary, and I am determined to wear our fabulous Turkey costume, watch this space...

What a great summer it was! The nation rejoiced as Team GB swept up the golds in the Olympics & Paralympic games. On the fancier side of things the Goodwood Revival was a roaring success as we enjoyed our highest rate of vintage hirings to date!

Bestival also went wild with it's animalistic theme, there were definetley some of our customers enjoying a beastly time on the Isle Of Wight...

And now as the nights draw in and there is a chill in the air, what is there to look forward too?.................HALLOWEEN of course! Our favourite time of year here at The Dressing Up Shop!

From the costumes to the wig's, masks, make-up and prostethics it really is one of the most fun of all the dressing up holidays.

So for expert knowledge, great ideas and lot's of choice come to us for all your Halloween needs, we'll be dead helpful....
