How long have you been trading? Have you moved?

We have indeed moved to a new location! Formerly on Aldershot's high street for 25 years, we moved to our current location in The Arcade shopping centre in the summer of 2010. See our contact us page for a handy map!

Do you sell costumes and accessories, as well as hire?

Yes we certainly do! We have a vast range of packaged costumes for adults & children as well as wigs, jewellery, hosiery, face paints, hats and much much more! We order in regularly so if there is something you wanted/needed for a certain day and we don't have it in the shop when you enquire, we can add it to an upcoming order.

What's the procedure with hiring?

Ah the fun part! When you come in and tell us your theme ( if any ) we will set about showing you all the appropriate costumes, once you have tried them on and found one you love we then complete the look by dressing you with the appropriate accessories. These can include a wig, shoes/boots, jewellery, bags, glasses, sometimes even weapons! ( All of which is included in the price ) Once you are happy with your choice, we then take your details and take payment for the costume.

How far in advance should I come in to book a costume?

That is entirely up to you! We usually recommend at least a month before hand if it is a local party or a week to two weeks if it's further afield. We have had customers book costumes for NYE in the summer! It is worth noting that we only have one of each costume, there are rarely exact duplicates, so once you find something it's worth booking it there and then!

Do you take a deposit?

Yes we do, however we take a deposit using the old style manual card swipe machine so it does not leave your account, you are then returned the deposit slip upon return of the costume.

Do you make the costumes?

For the most part. Approximately 60% of the costumes are made on the premises by Shirlee, the rest are tailored for us or are one off pieces from auctions, theatre sales etc. There are copyrighted costumes such as Disney, Marvel & DC Comics characters, and other licensed costumes that we are not allowed to replicate so we bring them in from the licensed companies.
